When Giving Up Is Your Best Option

I became very emotional when I made this video and it’s because I’m giving up. I know I’m always saying never, ever give up. But is there ever a time when giving up is the best thing you can do? What if, in order to succeed, you had to give up?

No, I’m not talking about giving up on yourself, or your dreams. Never ever give up on those! But sometimes we have to give up on our attachment the way we think our lives should be in order to let in something even better.

And this is something I have recently done and it has been one of the most challenging and yet the most enabling moments of my life!

20 something years ago (I’m not revealing the ‘something’ bit), I was accepted into an introductory program at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music to study voice and my dream was to become an Opera Singer, internationally recognized and singing all around the world!

As hard as I worked, the Conservatorium staff, for whatever reason, did not warm to me and in spite of passing all of my exams I was not re-admitted to the following years degree program. I was absolutely inconsolable. All those years ago I did not understand about the Law of Attraction and the plans The Universe had for me. I loved being a student at the Con and at that time I felt like all my dreams had been ripped away from me. Though I never gave up on them and continued to pursue my dream through formal training outside the Conservatorium for many years.

Anyway, long story short, I have never given up on my dream to be on stage singing in front of thousands of people, in an already well established industry. So much so that I’m almost ashamed to admit, I even went to the extent of auditioning for several reality TV shows like Australia’s Got Talent and the X Factor. I got some great feedback and even got through a couple of the initial rounds on a couple of occasions, but the last time a few weeks ago I finally heard what I had not wanted to hear. “You have a beautiful voice, but this show is not for you. You are not what we are looking for”.

Well, der!!!!!

Of course, in my heart I already knew this! I just had not wanted to admit it because, let’s face it, at my age the chances of getting into any industry at the ground floor are pretty limited and I felt like these reality shows were my last chance.

Then as I was leaving the audition guttered (yes, I was too attached to the outcome, tsk, tsk!), I was dwelling on my shattered dream to become an internationally appreciated singer and I had an awakening moment that made me start to laugh.

I’m already recognized by thousands of people in dozens of countries for my Sound Healing. My podcasts are heard around the globe and there are other avenues that people access my healing all the time!! I had been so attached to how my dream should look – standing in front of a packed stadium singing commercial songs of some description – I had failed to see that I have already realized a part of my dream.

AND since then I have also recognized that I can still realize my dream of singing to an audience of thousands at fabulous events, just with my sound healing, not as a commercial entertainer.

Now you may be thinking, “Man, how dumb is this girl that she took all this time to figure that out!”. And you’re right. There are many people who would have seen this for years and not understand why I hadn’t. The truth is that the reason I couldn’t see the wood for the trees is because I was blinded by my vision of how realizing my dream would look when I got there. I have been way too rigid and specific about how I wanted it all to turn out and not allowing the Universe to deliver my dream to me in a way that is even better than I imagined.

So I have given up on the way I expected my dream was going to turn out and I am surrendering to the Universe presenting opportunities to me to share my gift in a far more powerful and beautiful way than I had been envisioning. And the best part is that the moment I did that, ideas and opportunities began to flow that I know are finally helping my dream to come true.

Now it’s your turn. What is not working that, if you give up on it, will help you get unstuck and move forward. It may be an aspect of your vision, or a limiting decision you made about yourself, or lifestyle choices you are making that are having an adverse affect on your health. Or is it something else?

So, never give up on you. And never, ever give up on your dreams. And be specific on how you want your life to look. But give up on exactly how it should turn up, because you cannot possibly foresee what magic the Universe has in store for you and how it could look even better than you have ever imagined!

EFT for Inner Peace

Life is flying past at an ever increasing pace. There is always so much to do and not enough time to do it. You feel overwhelmed, frustrated, tired, anxious and stressed. It is only getting worse and it feels like there is no way out.

When did life get so out of control? What happened to having time for yourself? How did you get here? Life wasn’t supposed to turn out this way!

Does any of this resonate with you? If so, then you are just one of the millions of people all around the world feeling exactly the same way. Not that there is any comfort in this.

What if you could have inner peace not matter what was going on in your life? What if feeling peaceful could help you to think more clearly so you could be more efficient and effective and get more done in less time? What if you could actually have some time to relax and chill out every now and again?

You can with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

The truth is that all those feelings of overwhelm and stress are only overloading your central nervous system and preventing you from thinking clearly which only makes the situation even worse.

By using EFT on these issues on a regular basis you calm the central nervous system and release the stress enabling you to create new habits and over time, you will find you can remain calm and peaceful regardless of what is going on in your life. It’s an extraordinary phenomenon that helps you to be far more effective and efficient, even in a crisis. Then your life doesn’t seem out of control!

So following is an EFT tapping sequence that, when used regularly, will help you to feel calm and peaceful at all times.

Firstly rate the following statement on a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being it’s not true for you at all and 10 being the most true it could possibly be for you.

“My life is out of control and I don’t have enough time to get everything done.”

Now follow this sequence:

Karate Chop:

Even though my life is completely out of control and I feel so overwhelmed and stressed, I deeply and completely love and accept who I am and how I feel.

Even though I never have enough time and so much to do, I choose to love and accept myself and my life just the way it is.

Even though I feel stressed and overwhelmed all the time and I don’t have any time to relax, I deeply and completely love and accept all of me.

Eyebrow: I feel so stressed and overwhelmed

Outside Eye: Life is going so fast, I just can’t keep up

Under Eye: And it just gets worse every day

Under Nose: I never have any time for me

Chin: I would just love some time to relax

Collar Bone: But there’s always so much to do

Under Arm: That’s never going to happen

Top of Head: My life is totally out of control

Eyebrow: I’m running so fast, but seem to be going no where

Outside Eye: I wish I had some time to take a breath and relax

Under Eye: But that’s just seems impossible

Under Nose: How did my life get so out of control?

Chin: I’m so stressed and overwhelmed

Collar Bone: I feel like I’m going to explode

Under Arm: My life is complete chaos

Top of Head: There’s so much to do and never enough time to do it.

Eyebrow: I would love to just have a break

Outside Eye: Even 10 minutes would be nice

Under Eye: I really didn’t expect my life to turn out like this

Under Nose: How did it get so out of control?

Chin: I’m so exhausted

Collar Bone: And I just seem to keep running around in circles

Under Arm: There’s a million things going on in my life

Top of Head: And I just don’t have enough hours to get them all done.

Take a deep breath and now go back and rate the statement:

“My life is out of control and I don’t have enough time to get everything done.”

It will have moved at least a little bit. Keep tapping on these phrases and any others that describe the way your life is and the way you feel about it until you bring that rating down to at least a 2 and then proceed with the following positive tapping round:

Karate Chop:

Even though my life is still out of control, I choose to feel calm and peaceful any way.

Even though I have so much to do and never enough time to do it, I am willing to find a place of peace within me no matter what is happening in my life.

Even though I still feel overwhelmed and stressed because my life is out of control, I choose to feel calm and peaceful no matter what.

Eyebrow: My life is still out of control

Outside Eye: But I choose to feel calm and peaceful anyway

Under Eye: I have so much to do and never enough time

Under Nose: But I choose to access a place of peace within me

Chin: So I can be more effective and get more done

Collar Bone: I have a very busy life with lots of tasks to complete

Under Arm: And I choose to move through my day with ease and grace

Top of Head: I love that my day moves smoothly

Eyebrow: And I accomplish everything I need to with ease and grace

Outside Eye: I am so happy and so grateful

Under Eye: For this deep sense of inner peace that I feel inside

Under Nose: No matter what’s going on in my life

Chin: I love that my life is ordered and I achieve everything I need to with ease and grace

Collar Bone: I’m grateful for the peace I feel inside no matter what is happening in my life

Under Arm: I choose to feel calm and peaceful no matter what

Top of Head: I love feeling calm and peaceful even when I am so busy

Eyebrow: I choose to let go of the chaos and create harmony and balance in my life

Outside Eye: I love feeling a deep sense of peace and calm within

Under Eye: No matter what is going on, I choose to be centred, calm and relaxed

Under Nose: I am confident I can move through my day with ease and grace

Chin: I choose to release this overwhelm and anxiety

Collar Bone: And achieve everything I need to in a calm, peaceful state

Under Arm: I love finding time to relax and enjoy a little me time

Top of Head: I love creating a new paradigm with complete calm and peace within no matter what.

And again, take a deep breath and as you release it, let go of any remaining tension. Now go back and rate the statement:

“My life is out of control and I don’t have enough time to get everything done.”

Keep tapping until you get the rating down to a zero. Old habits die hard, so do this tapping at least every couple of days until you feel a deep sense of peace remaining with you regardless of what else is going on around you. This may take a couple of weeks, but it will be worth it.

I Give Myself Permission To Be Happy With EFT

Scientific studies have shown that each one of us has our own ‘happiness set point’. This means that no matter what happens to us, we are pre-programmed to return to a particular level of happiness within 12 months. So even if you have a tragic event happen, or an out of this world fabulous event, it is highly likely that within a period of 12 months you will return to the same level of happiness you were at before the event occurred.

This happiness set point is determined 50% by your DNA and 50% by your environment and your programmed responses to it. So you may have been fortunate enough, like myself, to come in with a happy disposition already present in your personality, or you may have been born with a more serious nature that finds happiness more difficult.

The good news is, that no matter what your DNA dictates, you have complete control over the other 50% of your level of happiness and you can reprogram yourself to be happy, no matter what.

There is a fabulous book by Marci Schimoff called “Happy For No Reason”. In this book Marci has interviewed 100 of the happiest people in the world to determine what the common underlying theme was for all these people. She then goes on to give practical tips and exercises to help you to raise your happiness set point and learn how to be ‘Happy for No Reason’. I highly recommend this book.

For most of us, we’re expecting our external conditions to all fall into perfect place before we are happy. We have made our happiness conditional. At first inspection, this seems perfectly reasonable and you’re probably wondering how on earth you can be happy if things aren’t going well for you. Well, the truth is, true happiness is unconditional. It comes from a place within us and is not reliant on external conditions to be present. It is already there, we just have to let go of all the crap that’s covering it up to feel happy.

Now I know you’re probably thinking, ‘But you don’t know what my life’s like. If you knew how much crap I’ve got going on, you’d know that I could never be happy.”  And I understand why you feel that way.

Many people are suffering some grave situations right now and it may seem impossible to be happy even when things look so grave. But believe me, it’s possible to be happy no matter what. It’s all about making a different choice and choosing to be happy regardless of whatever else is going on in your life.

I understand even the concept of this can be difficult to wrap your mind around let alone know how to achieve this utopian ideal of happiness and bliss regardless of what’s going on in your life. And no, I am not on drugs. Never have, nor will I ever take drugs to achieve an altered mind state because I know that I can do it without artificial aids and it’s sooooooo much better without all the lethal consequences.

The fact is that our brain is wired to focus on the negative and that’s what makes us unhappy. All of us have reasons to be sad, angry, frustrated, upset, overwhelmed, etc. The truth is everybody also has reasons to be happy, even when you feel like you don’t, and it’s the people who look beyond the negative stuff in their lives and focus on the reasons they have to be happy that are the happiest of all.

It’s not about ignoring the bad stuff, it’s about making it less important than the good stuff. You are supposed to feel good. And when you change the way you think, you can. It won’t happy instantly as you’re training your brain a new way of being, but it will all be worth it if you stick with it.

So following you will find an Emotional Freedom Technique sequence which, when used frequently, will help you to be happier more often and regardless of what’s happening in your life.

So firstly I want you to rate this phrase on a scale of 0 (not true for you) and 10 (the most true it could possibly be).

“I can’t be happy until my life is perfect and everything works”

Karate Chop:

Even though I know I won’t be happy until all my problems are solved and things turn out the way I want them to, I choose to accept how my life is right now.

Even though I can’t be happy until my life is sorted and I get what I want, I deeply and completely love and accept who I am and how I feel.

Even though I’m never happy because my life sucks and I can’t imagine being happy with the problems I have, I accept how my life is and how I feel about it.

Eyebrow: My life sucks and I’ve got nothing to be happy about

Outside Eye: Everything’s wrong with my life

Under Eye: How could I possibly be happy with my life as it is

Under Nose: I don’t even believe happiness exists

Chin: How can it when everything is in the toilet

Collar Bone: I can’t see any reason to be happy

Under Arm: I’m always struggling and nothing works out

Top of Head: I have all these problems

Eyebrow: My life is in chaos

Outside Eye: I’ve got plenty of reasons not to be happy

Under Eye: If she took a walk in my shoes, she’d know why I can’t be happy

Under Nose: Every day is a struggle just to get through it

Chin: Even thinking about trying to be happy makes me sad

Collar Bone: I feel so sad by what’s going on in my life

Under Arm: I feel depressed when I look at my life

Top of Head: I am over being sad and unhappy

Eyebrow: But I don’t have a choice

Outside Eye: There’s no way I could be happy with they way things are

Under Eye: What a ridiculous idea

Under Nose: I can’t remember the last time I was really happy

Chin: Until my life improves, there is no way I can feel happy

Collar Bone: I have too much to be sad and angry and frustrated about

Under Arm: Don’t talk to me about happiness!

Top of Head: I can’t be happy until my life is perfect and everything works

Now take a deep breath and go back and rate the statement:

“I can’t be happy until my life is perfect and everything works”

Keep tapping on those phrases or ones that work for you until you bring that rating down to at least a 2 before moving on to the positive tapping phrase below.

Now take a few minutes to make a list of 10 reasons that you could be happy about. They don’t need to be earth shattering. Just choose some little things like the air you breathe, that you have a house to live in, that you woke up this morning, that it’s a beautiful day, that you have found EFT, that you are able to read this article. Simple, everyday things that you could be happy about.

Karate Chop:

Even though I still can’t image being happy because my life really sucks, I am open to feeling just a little bit happier right now.

Even though I have so many reasons not to be happy, I’m willing to look for reasons I could be happy and focus on those instead.

Even though I can’t remember the last time I was really happy, and no wonder considering all the crap that’s gone on in my life, I choose to relax and be open to finding reasons to feel even just a little bit happy.

Eyebrow: I have so many reasons not to be happy

Outside Eye: And I can’t imagine feeling happiness right now

Under Eye: Maybe I have some things in my life to be happy about

Under Nose: But there are many more reasons to be unhappy

Chin: What if I focused on the happy stuff

Collar Bone: Maybe I could feel a little bit happier

Under Arm: But the bad stuff is so overwhelming

Top of Head: What if I could be happy even with all this crap in my life

Eyebrow: Wouldn’t it be nice if I could feel happy right now

Outside Eye: I give myself permission to be just a little bit happy

Under Eye: Even though my life is such a mess

Under Nose: I choose to feel a little bit happier right now

Chin: I resolve to focus on the things I can be happy about

Collar Bone: I love knowing that underneath all these bad feelings

Under Arm: There is a happy me waiting to be discovered

Top of Head: I give myself permission to be happy no matter what

Eyebrow: I choose to feel a little bit happier right now

Outside Eye: I give myself permission to be happy right now

Under Eye: I love the thought of feeling happy no matter what

Under Nose: Even though I’ve still got heaps of reasons to be unhappy

Chin: I’ve also got plenty of reasons to be happy

Collar Bone: I choose to focus on those and allow myself to be a little bit happier

The more you work with this kind of EFT tapping sequence, the better your life will appear to be and the happier you will be.

You Are Health, Wealth, Love, Happiness, Joy & Freedom

 

Because of the nature of our human existence, we are conditioned to believe that we are the sum total of our body, our mind, our experiences and the roles that we adopt through our perceptions and our environment. In fact nothing could be further from the truth.

You are not our body. You are not our mind. You are not defined by what you do, have, experience, or what others think of you. You are, in fact, the ‘is-ness’ in ‘All That Is’. You are the beauty you behold in everything around you. You are life itself expressed in the form of a human body, which is only your choice of form, not who you are. You are the breath in your body, the pure essence of spirit, the light in which everything appears.

Because you are all that is, you are wealth, health, love, happiness, joy, freedom, you are everything that you have ever dreamed of and desired. It is only your belief that you are separate from what you want that keeps it from you. By realizing you are already that which you desire, you allow all of your dreams to materialize in physical form in your life.

Our physical form is the common factor that binds us together and through which you are experiencing this life. There is nothing that is separate from you, only the perception of separation. There are no problems, only the perception of problems. Just like the beating of your heart, everything is happening automatically. Consciousness is love, where everything is perfect. When you begin to expand your consciousness to realize that you are an infinite being without limitation, you are free and all things are possible.

But this is not an easy task. Because of the density of our bodies and the tangible nature of everything we experience through our senses, i.e. see, feel, touch, taste, smell, it is difficult to reach beyond the veil of the illusion to discover the truth of who we really are.

So I have put together an EFT tapping sequence below to help you to begin to see beyond the illusion of what you perceive as your limited reality to the infinite nature of who you truly are.Firstly we are going to tap through some of the false conditioning that we all have installed in our subconscious from a very early age, then we are going to tap the truth or who we really are into our subconscious mind.

Karate Chop:

Even though I feel limited and weighed down by problems, I choose to love and accept myself as I am right now.

Even though I feel trapped in a world of limitation and defined by my experiences, I deeply and completely love and accept all of my perceptions and conditioning.

Even though I am living my life defined as a limited human being, I deeply and completely love and accept who I am and how I feel right now.

Eyebrow: I believe I am my body and mind

Outside Eye: I believe what I do defines who I am

Under Eye: I am limited in what I can achieve

Under Nose: I am who I am and nothing can change that

Chin: I am separate from all my desires

Collar Bone: I have real problems that keep me from having what I want

Under Arm: I can’t have everything I want

Top of Head: I have roles to play that I define who I am

Eyebrow: I haven’t been successful, so I am not a successful person

Outside Eye: I haven’t created wealth, so I am not a wealthy person

Under Eye: I am limited by all my previous results

Under Nose: My experiences define who I am

Chin: I have to perform according to others expectations

Collar Bone: I can’t break free of who I believe I am

Under Arm: It’s not allowed

Top of Head: I can’t achieve results that exceed my expectations

Eyebrow:  I can’t achieve results that exceed others expectations

Outside Eye: I’m not allowed to be unexpected

Under Eye: That would be too shocking

Under Nose: It’s not safe to be someone I’m not

Chin: I am stuck being who I am and what I have achieved

Collar Bone: I’ve achieve what I’m supposed to according to how I was raised

Under Arm: I live according to what I was taught

Top of Head: And that’s the way it should be

Eyebrow:  I am who I am and I am limited to being who I am in the world

Outside Eye: My past results prove that I am limited

Under Eye: I identify myself as the things that I do

Under Nose: I identify myself as the things I have achieved

Chin: I identify myself as the things I haven’t achieved

Collar Bone: I am defined by my results

Under Arm: I am defined by what others think of me

Top of Head: My reality is limited by what I can see, here and feel. Eyebrow:  I am my body

Outside Eye:  I am my mind

Under Eye: I am what I do

Under Nose: I am what I have achieved

Chin: I am what others think of me

Collar Bone: I am defined by what I have

Under Arm: I am defined by what I have experienced

Top of Head: I am limited to be who I believe I am right now and nothing can change that

Take a deep breath and release it, and now we are going to move onto the truth of who we are. I will be using the phrase ‘I Am That’ which comes from ancient wisdom that whatever we desire, whatever we experience, whatever we do, we are that because we are ‘All that is’. The distinction is that we are not just those things, because we are all of it. If you wish, feel free to add and substitute any of your own phrases that feel right for you and how you would like your life to be for the phrases below. After all, there are no limitations.

Karate Chop:

Even though I have been conditioned to believe I am my body, my mind and what I do and have, I choose to love and accept that these are just limitations I have been led to believe and they are not real.

Even though I believe I am defined and limited by what I experience every minute of every day, and I don’t know how to be any different, I’m willing to entertain the possibility that I am infinite and can be, have and do anything I want to in the world by letting go of all my limitations.

Even though I have lived trapped in this life of limitation and it feels real and concrete, I choose to be open to breaking free of limitation and experience the freedom of my spirit which has infinite potential and know that I can be anything I want to be and have all my dreams come true right now.

Eyebrow:  I choose to know I am not limited by my body or mind

Outside Eye: I am infinite spirit with infinite potential

Under Eye: I choose to believe I am free to be, do and have

Under Nose: Everything I have ever dreamed of

Chin: I love knowing I am not limited by what I have been conditioned to believe

Collar Bone: I choose to liberate myself from this limited thinking

Under Arm: Even though who I perceive myself to be Is familiar and safe

Top of Head: I choose to be open to letting go of all my limitations right now

Eyebrow: I am not my body and I am not my mind

Outside Eye: Because I am all that is, I am wealthy in all ways – I am that

Under Eye: Because I am all that is, I am unconditional love – I am that

Under Nose: Because I am all that is, I am perfectly healthy and vital – I am that

Chin: Because I am all that is, I am free to be anything I want – I am that

Collar Bone: Because I am all that is, I am at peace always – I am that

Under Arm: Because I am all that is, I am happy – I am that

Top of Head: Because I am all that is, I am joyful – I am that

Eyebrow: Because I am all that is, I am fulfilled right now – I am that

Take a deep breath and release it. Now finally close your eyes and picture your life the way you would like it to be in detail. Where are you? Who are you with? What are you doing? How are you feeling? Use as many senses as you can to create a representation in your minds eye of how you would like your life to be and tap through all the points whilst holding onto that vision or feeling, saying ‘I am that’.

Eyebrow: I am that

Outside Eye: I am that

Under Eye: I am that

Under Nose: I am that

Under Chin: I am that

Collar Bone: I am that

Under Arm: I am that

Top of Head: I am that

And continue through doing several rounds just holding onto your vision saying I am that until you feel like you want to stop.

If you tap like this regularly, you will be amazed at how your conditioning and your world will change to the point where you don’t even recognize yourself or your life. You will be liberated to the point where you are never limited again, free to be, do and have anything and everything your heart desires.

Is Conforming Sabotaging Your Success?

When we come into this world we have transitioned from pure spirit into occupying a very confined human body. We know nothing of how to be in this existence and we need to learn that by copying those who are already here. They are our models and our teachers for learning how to survive and function on the planet called Earth in a very dense dimensional existence.

Unfortunately, very few of our models have learned how to thrive on this planet, and most are barely managing to exist. Not only is being in this confined human body uncomfortable, how we learn to be in the world makes our experience here very uncomfortable. Actually, it creates a great deal of personal suffering.

Believe it or not, the truth is that we were born to thrive and flourish here, it’s just that we forget who we truly are when we manifest into this reality and largely the people whom we choose as our models unconsciously teach us the same way to survive that they learned because they’re still here, so their way has worked. Sort of!

In other words, subconsciously we become clones of those who take care of us and who are in our environment. We dutifully conform to whatever we are taught because that is how we are designed and it is perceived to be safe. The question is, is conforming really working for you? If it is, then don’t change a thing. Just keep living the life you’ve always lived.

But unfortunately, for most people this agreement to conform holds them back from thriving and living a life of passion, purpose, abundance and freedom. And if this applies to you, then it’s time to break out of the mould of conforming and dare to be different. It’s time to stop fitting in and risk facing whatever situations arise when we challenge the paradigm of the majority.

Throughout our history, and not so very long ago, challenging the status quo and daring to break away from what was considered ‘appropriate’ and ‘normal’ carried very grave threats of suffering and death. So to keep us safe, our parents taught us there were consequences if we were different or ‘misbehaved’ because they would get angry, or even worse, disappointed in us. No wonder we are intent upon staying in our box and doing whatever we were told. It’s much easier than doing something that threatens our safety and our existence.

Fortunately now, at least in our society, although there are challenges when we become non-conformists, they are rarely as grave as they were throughout even our recent history.

If you want your life to be different, then you are going to have to step outside the square and you will have to be different. The choice is yours, you can continue to live the life you always have and get what you’ve always got, just like most of the rest of the population, or you can be brave and dive into experiencing what it’s like to be on the fringe, creating the life of your dreams and refusing to conform with the majority.

To help you with this, I’ve created an EFT tapping sequence below that you can use as often as you like to break out of your current paradigm and start to thrive.

Firstly, rate this statement on a scale of 0 (not true for you) to 10 (the most true it could be for you):

“It’s not worth the risk to be different to everybody else”

Karate Chop:

Even though I’ve been conforming because there are serious consequences if I don’t, I deeply and completely accept who I am right now.

Even though I’ve limited my potential by behaving the way I learnt was appropriate when I was younger, I choose to love and accept myself anyway.

Even though my parents / carers taught me to conform and be like everybody else because that’s the way it’s supposed to be, I choose to appreciate that I have survived and accept where I am right now.

Eyebrow: Conforming has worked for me so far

Outside Eye: At least I’ve survived

Under Eye: My life isn’t perfect

Under Nose: But I’m still here

Chin: So conforming isn’t all bad

Collar Bone: And rebelling against how I was taught to behave

Under Arm: Is fraught with all sorts of dangerous consequences

Top of Head: People might reject me

Eyebrow: My family and friends might not approve

Outside Eye: They’ll be mad at me

Under Eye: They’ll be disappointed in me

Under Nose: What if nobody loves me anymore

Chin: I’ll be judged and criticized

Collar Bone: I’ll get into trouble

Under Arm: I don’t like getting into trouble

Top of head: I’ll be lonely

Eyebrow: Nobody else is unique or different

Outside Eye: They’ll think I’m a freak

Under Eye: It’s not worth breaking out and being unique

Under Nose: Being different means I would stand out for all the wrong reasons

Chin: It’s not safe to stand out

Collar Bone: I’ll get hurt if I am different and show that I’m unique

Under Arm: It’s definitely safer to conform and stay hidden

Top of Head: Even if it means some discomfort throughout my life

Eyebrow: I don’t want too shine brightly

Outside Eye: That would mean too much attention on me

Under Eye: And then I would risk being hurt

Under Nose: People won’t like it if I stand out

Chin: It’s much safer to conform and do as I was taught

Collar Bone: It’s not so bad

Under Arm: I would like my life to be better

Top of Head: But it’s way too risky to show that I’m different

Eyebrow: Even though I know I am different

Outside Eye: I couldn’t possibly live the truth that I’m an individual

Under Eye: It’s not safe

Under Nose: They’ll be angry with me

Chin: They’ll disapprove of me

Collar Bone: They’ll probably punish me

Under Arm: It’s not worth the risk

Top of Head: It’s safer to be a good girl and do as I’m told

Eyebrow: It’s much easier to just fit in than be a rebel

Outside Eye: There are consequences if I misbehave

Under Eye: I’m a good girl, I do as I’m told

Under Nose: I’m supposed to conform and be like everybody else

Chin: It’s not worth the risk to be different to everybody else

Take a deep breath and rate the statement:

“It’s not worth the risk to be different to everybody else”

Keep tapping through the phrases until you have brought the rating down to at least a two and then continue with the following positive tapping round.

Karate Chop:

Even though I still feel like it’s not worth the risk to be unique and different, my life’s not working the way I would really like it to and I’m willing to explore the possibility that I can be my own unique self and be ok.

Even though I still don’t feel safe expressing who I truly am in the world because there are consequences, I’m willing to take a risk and be free to be me.

Even though I’ve survived being a conformist, deep down I’m really unique and different and I am excited about sharing that with the world.

Eyebrow: It’s safer to conform and fit in

Outside Eye: But it’s really not working for me now

Under Eye: I could choose to be a rebel

Take a deep breath and rate the statement:

“It’s not worth the risk to be different to everybody else”

 Keep tapping with the phrases that resonated with you the most, or make up your own depending on your life and how you feel. What happened when you were a child? How were you punished? Were you scolded by your parents, or ostracized by your friends if you didn’t behave according to their expectations?

It’s important that you tune into your story, because it is unique to you and EFT will work better the more specific you are for you.

Would having an extra $20,000 help you out right now? I’m sure it would! Nobody in their right mind would sneeze at $20,000.

Ever since the hit movie ‘The Secret’, people have been working with the Law of Attraction and trying desperately to transform their lives for the better. Most, unfortunately, have never achieved the results they desire, and many have given up with a sense of hopelessness feeling as if either there is something wrong with them, or that the Law of Attraction is a sham.

This is an unfortunate situation, and the truth is, that most people don’t understand the fundamental principals of the Law of Attraction and what it takes to make it work.

The principal behind the LOA is simple. We are vibrational beings and, just like us, everything in the Universe is energy vibrating at a particular frequency. When 2 objects vibrate at the same frequency, they are attracted to each other. All emotions and belief systems are also energy. So if you have belief systems and emotions that are vibrating in alignment with lack and poverty, you will literally repel money. The good news is that we can alter our vibration and frequency through positive focus on what we want and aligning ourselves vibrationally with it.

The next most important point is that this takes time, and it is different for everybody. For some it may happen quite quickly, depending on where their vibration is in comparison to what they want, while others may take a lot longer. The critical thing is to never, never, never give up. As long as you maintain a positive focus, you must end up in alignment with what you want and when you are in alignment, it must come into your life. THIS IS LAW!!!

Fortunately we now have many different transformational tools available to us to help change our frequency more quickly. And when used regularly and effectively, over time our lives can become like a factory for miracles.

Those who know me know that my favourite tools are Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Sound Healing. So following you will find an EFT script that you can follow and, if used regularly (preferably every day) for a few weeks, miracles will definitely start to occur.

Even though I could really use $20,000 right now, I have absolutely no idea how to attract it into my life, and I choose to love and accept myself anyway.

Even though the thought of having an extra $20,000 really makes my heart sing, I’m convinced that I will never get to see that kind of money in my lifetime because I’ve always blocked it in the past, but I choose to be open to all the possibilities the Universe has in store for me.

Even though I’m convinced that I’m hopeless at attracting money and the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for me, I’m open to finding out whatever is blocking me from wealth and releasing whatever that is.

Eyebrow: There’s no way I’m going to receive $20,000

Outside Eye: It’s just not possible

Under Eye: I could definitely use it right now

Under Nose: But I am hopeless at attracting money

Chin: I’ve tried everything and the Law of Attraction doesn’t work for me

Top of Head: I’m angry that I’ve tried really hard, but the Universe is holding out on me

Eyebrow: I’m fed up that I can’t create the money I want in my life

Outside Eye: I’ve tried and tried and there’s no way I’m getting $20,000

Under Eye: The Law of Attraction just doesn’t work for me

Under Nose: I know deep down inside that I’m blocking it

Chin: Which is really frustrating because I could really use $20,000 right now

Collar Bone: Maybe I don’t feel safe having that kind of money

Under Arm: Maybe I don’t feel like I deserve it

Top of Head: Maybe I’d be breaking some sort of family law if I had that kind of money

Eyebrow: I would love to know why I’m blocking having more money

Outside Eye: Because then I could clear it and all my problems would be solved

Under Eye: But I have no idea how I could create having $20,000

Under Nose: I’m obviously not in vibrational alignment with it

Chin: Because I’m just no good at bringing money into my life

Collar Bone: I would love to have an extra $20,000 dollars right now

Under Arm: But I really don’t believe that it’s ever going to happen

Top of Head: And I’m tired of struggling for money

Take a deep breath.

Most people, when they’re considering their financial problems, get stuck because they don’t know how they can change their situation. Remember that ‘how’ is not important because it’s not your business. The Universe has hundreds if not thousands of possibilities available to be able to create solutions to your problems and whatever money you want to attract into your life. The Universe knows how to orchestrate everything to create whatever you want. ‘How’ is not your concern. ‘What’ is all you have to worry about and then follow the inspiration that turns up.

Start to really pay attention to any signs and inspiration that appear over the coming days, weeks and months and be grateful for any extra money, small and large, however it comes to you and a trickle will turn into a flood.

Now for a positive EFT tapping round.

Eyebrow: I would really love to have an extra $20,000 right now

Outside Eye: I can just imagine what I’m going to do to get it

Under Eye: I would love to know why I’m blocking money in my life

Under Nose: And whatever it is, I choose to transcend and transform it right now

Another thing to remember is that your level of belief is also very important. The slightest doubt will unravel your attempts to attract what you want, so build absolute faith using EFT and by visualising your dreams, being grateful for them coming to fruition. Do this and your life will be transformed.

And you may have any belief systems that are blocking your wealth become very clear to you through things that happen. Pay attention, particularly to things and situations that are in your face, and may even be challenging. These are gifts from the Universe showing you what’s blocking what you want. It’s up to you to clear them to allow the money to show up.

And finally, be patient. It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen. IT IS LAW!

What if you could love yourself unconditionally? How would your life be transformed? How would your relationships be transformed?

Loving yourself is the ultimate key to your freedom as it is the condition that underlies your feelings of self-worth, the quality of your relationships with yourself and others, your level of success, your depth of happiness, your health and wellbeing, and pretty much every other aspect of your life.

If you find that a little hard to swallow, just imagine loving yourself no matter what. How would your feelings about yourself change? How would your behaviour change? Where would your feelings of self-worth be? How would those things affect each area of your life?

Love is the very essence of who we are, and once we reconnect with that unconditionally, every negative feeling, behaviour, condition or event in our lives pales into insignificance. It does not mean that we will not experience difficult times, but they will no longer define who we are because we will be in love with all of it. Hard to imagine isn’t it?

Well, using the following EFT sequence regularly will help you to move more and more into a state of unconditional love for yourself and others.

First, rate the following statement on a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being it is not true for you at all and 10 being that it is 100% true: “I completely love every part of myself and my life unconditionally.”

Unlike most of the set up statements I use, this time the desired outcome is to get as close to 10 as possible, not zero.

Now use the following EFT phrase to increase the rating.

Set Up

Karate Chop:

Even though I can’t imagine loving myself unconditionally, I deeply and completely accept who I am and how I feel.

Even though I have too many faults and imperfections to be truly loveable, I choose to accept myself as I am right now.

Even though someone like me doesn’t deserve to be loved unconditionally, I profoundly accept myself anyway.

Eyebrow: I really can’t imagine loving myself unconditionally

Outside Eye: I have too many imperfections

Under Eye: I could never be good enough to deserve unconditional love

Under Nose: Unconditional love isn’t for people like me

Chin: I’ve got too many bad qualities

Collar Bone: Nobody could ever love me unconditionally

Under Arm: Even me

Top of Head: You have to earn unconditional love

Eyebrow: And I’m not good enough

Outside Eye: I’ve done too many bad things

Under Eye: I don’t deserve that kind of love

Under Nose: I don’t even believe unconditional love exists

Chin: Even my parents couldn’t love me unconditionally

Collar Bone: They withdrew their love all the time when I didn’t please them

Under Arm: And even if it did exist

Top of Head: I wouldn’t deserve it anyway

Eyebrow: I can’t imagine loving myself unconditionally

Outside Eye: I’m just not that loveable

Under Eye: I have too many faults and imperfections

Under Nose: Only people who are perfect deserve unconditional love

Chin: And I am so far from perfect, I can’t even see the horizon

Collar Bone: I could never love myself unconditionally

Under Arm: Never in a million years

Top of Head: I have never done anything to deserve being loved unconditionally, even by me.

Take a deep breath and go back and rate the statement “I completely love every part of myself and my life unconditionally.” It should have shifted a bit. Now, regardless of where that rating is, proceed to the positive tapping round.

NB: I have used the word God in the following sequence, however, I am aware that some people are not comfortable using this word as there may be a negative feeling around it for some. If it doesn’t work for you, then please use any word that works for you – e.g. Divine, Source, Universe, Universal Energy, etc.

Karate Chop:

Even though I still can’t imagine loving myself unconditionally, I choose to be open to the possibility that I am loveable.

Even though I don’t believe I deserve unconditional love, I am willing to consider the possibility that I could love myself more than I do now.

Even though unconditional love needs to be earned, and I am not good enough, I choose to be open to embracing new possibilities about loving myself unconditionally.

Eyebrow: God / Source / The Universe loves me unconditionally

Outside Eye: I’m a pretty good person when it comes down to it

Under Eye: Maybe I’ve been judging myself too harshly

Under Nose: What if I don’t have to earn unconditional love

Chin: It would be nice if I could love myself no matter what

Collar Bone: It would be nice if love didn’t depend on what I did

Under Arm: What if real love isn’t judgemental or conditional

Top of Head: And what if I could just allow myself to be loved like that?

Eyebrow: Better still, what if I could love myself like that?

Outside Eye: I wonder if it’s possible to love myself unconditionally?

Under eye: I don’t have to earn God’s love

Under Nose: So it doesn’t make sense that I have to earn my love.

Chin: What if I could just love all of my imperfections

Collar Bone: I love the thought of loving myself just the way I am

Under Arm: I choose to love all of me just as I am right now

Top of Head: Even with all my faults and imperfections

Eyebrow: I choose to love myself like God does

Outside Eye: I choose to know that unconditional love is the essence of who I am.

Under Eye: And if love is who I am, than I do not need to earn love

Under Nose: Just because some of my actions are not loveable

Chin: Doesn’t mean I am not loveable

Collar Bone: Unconditional love fills my heart and sustains me

Under Arm: I am complete unconditional love

Top of Head: I choose to embrace my eternal essence and love myself unconditionally.

Eyebrow: Because the truth is there is nothing I can do that would make me unlove-able.

Outside Eye: Because my actions do not define me

Under Eye: Love defines me

Under Nose: It always has and it always will

Chin: And the more I love myself unconditionally

Collar Bone: The more I will love others unconditionally

Under Arm: So I choose to embrace and love all of me including my imperfections.

Top of Head: I love feeling unconditional love for myself, just like God / Source / The Divine does.

Take a breath and rate the statement “I completely love every part of myself and my life unconditionally.” Keep using this tapping sequence every day for 2 weeks and notice how differently you feel about yourself and how it redefines your relationships with others. Other people will start to respond to you differently. The people in our lives can only reflect how we feel about ourselves.

Use this theme on a regular basis for your tapping and notice how your heart begins to open and your relationships change, including your relationship with yourself.

Money Can Buy Happiness

That’s right! I am going to go against the trend and tell you that the age old belief that ‘Money can’t buy happiness’ is a myth and you need to vanquish it from your memory and your programming forever.

The obvious argument for the original statement that ‘money can’t buy happiness’ is clear. Happiness comes from within, and there are plenty of wealthy and successful people who are unfulfilled and desperately unhappy. I am not disputing that for a second.

And I’m not talking about being able to buy more ‘stuff’ that will make you happy. This is a recipe for disaster and will pretty much guarantee failure in your pursuit of happiness as more stuff is simply another distraction from what you really need which is personal fulfilment on all levels: physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

My position in this debate is this: it’s not that money can’t buy happiness, but that money doesn’t necessarily buy you happiness. Money can most definitely buy you happiness when you are spending it wisely in ways that will help you to rediscover happiness.

Happiness is a state of being that exists within us regardless of our situation, it’s just that more often than not it has paled into insignificance because of all the stress, worry, anger, fear, frustration, sadness, guilt, shame, overwhelm, etc, etc, etc. It’s not that we aren’t happy, it’s just that the happiness has been swamped by a multitude of other negative emotions. The happiness is still inside us waiting to rise above all the other conditions.

So, if this is true, how can money buy happiness?

Well, what is the best way to release all your negative emotions to rediscover your true inner peace and happiness? Healing, personal development and reconnecting with who you truly are!

And what is almost essential to help you experience the most powerful form of healing and personal development? Money!

Sure, we all have within us everything we need to be our beautiful, magnificent, awesomeness and share it with the world. However, in my experience, it can be almost impossible to raise your head out of the emotional quagmire to be able to reach that place inside on your own. Having someone to guide you to that place inside of you and help you release all the other crap is so much more effective and efficient.

And there are plenty of incredible healers and specialists available who have made it their life’s work to do just that. The fact of the matter is that they charge money for their services, and rightly so. And the more well known they are, the more money they charge.

It’s important to note that just because they are more well known, doesn’t mean they are necessarily the best. It just means they have marketed themselves more effectively to be seen as the expert.

Money will also give you the time freedom you need to be able to spend it focusing on your healing and personal development to realize true and lasting happiness.

 

And if you have money, you can invest it in acquiring the tools, information and resources you require to live a life of purpose, passion and fulfilment.

 

So in fact, money will never be the source of your happiness. Having a constant in flow of money will help you feel financially secure, but it is the way you utilise the money that will ultimately assist you in rediscovering your true state of joy and happiness.

 

Money is a tool that gives you access to everything you need to engage in a fulfilling and satisfying life. So do whatever you can to eliminate your negative belief systems around money. It’s time you gave yourself permission to be successful and wealthy and do whatever you came here to do so the rest of the world can benefit!
